She was a widow of Matthys Botha at the time of her death and maybe they didn't have all the Coetzer children's names. 88 years, 9 months according to DN.DN gives name as Elsie Magdalena thus no Maria. Coetzer book has name as Elsje. Jordaan book has a Elsie Maria Jordaan *<28.4.1782 (a1b2c5d7) pg.250, married 21.2.1796 to Johannes Jacobus COETZER (s.v. Johannes Jacobus Coetzer en Johanna NEL) ~17.5.1772. Gee 'n "n" met 'n "~" bo-op agterna die naam?Maybe parents are wrong here? Or same person as Gerrit below? "Uittreksel ui boek van Jan Visagie: "Vertrekdatum: voor Junie 1838. Die plase Klipfontein en 'de Bosjes' Spruit' aan die Sandrivier en die plaas Coetzersfontein aan die Magaliesberg is op 20 en 23/6/1838 en 5/8/1840 vir hom aangeteken." Johan Grobler has this Johannes Jacobus married to Cornelia Carolina du Preez.Cornelia also married to xx Cornelis BOTHA according to the DE VILLIERS book. Jordaan boek:Elsie Magdalena Vol 1 bl. 135 2231. * 16 Jun 1800 ~ 17 Feb 1802 + 16.4.1889 SAG also has a Gerrit COETZER 17.5.1772 b1c15 married same date 21.2.1796 to a Elsie Maria JORDAAN. Johan Grobler has this marriage date as 12th instead of 21st? SAG has a Johannes Jacobus COETZER b1c12d3 married 7.10.1816 Graaff Reinet to Elsie Maria Jordaan but with his parents as Philipus Jeremias COETZER b1c12. Adding her parents here according to her death notice info.
